Known for creating unique and compelling stories, NATAS LGL Emmy® Award-Winning Writer/Director/Producer George A. Johnson's films have garnered over 150 awards in 31 countries.

After working in faith-based television for a decade, at age 39, George was promoted to Director of Creative Content for TCT Network, where he led the creative vision at the corporate studios in Marion, IL, and oversaw all things creative for all of the other TV stations nationwide.

 

As Founder & President of Homesick Media, George has written/directed/produced/shot/lit/edited nearly 10,000 TV commercials, short films, music videos, corporate videos, and TV programs which have been viewed in over 224 nations.

As a 25-year filmmaking veteran & a founding member of the Faith In Entertainment Guild, George has an extensive list of industry-leading production team members, talent, and distributors that he can bring to the project.

His award-winning feature film credits include PURSUIT OF FREEDOM, THY NEIGHBOR, HOMELESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS, and more, including the upcoming CAROL, set for release this Christmas.

He is also the creator, cinematographer, director, and editor of GoStream Sports, a global youtube channel with nearly 65,000 subscribers.  George's sports videos have amassed over 40 million views worldwide, and his channel is larger than most minor league sports teams & Division I colleges (bigger than MSU & Michigan combined). Of ESPN's 82,000+ videos, only 20 have more views than George's top video.

George has developed the concept for the TO BE A BLESSING project, and will serve as the Writer/Director/Producer/Editor.
